Clinics and tryouts for the Drumline and Colorguard of the 2008 Marching Charger Band have been scheduled. The band will hold 2 Drumline clinics on Tuesday, January 29 and Thursday, January 31 prior to the tryouts on Monday, February 4. All three events take place from 3:30–5:00 pm at Northwood. Music experience is preferred, but not required.
Colorguard tryouts will be held Tuesday, February 5, Wednesday, February 6, and Monday, February 11 from 6–8 pm, also at Northwood. Dance experience is plus.
Tryouts for both groups is open to current high school students and rising freshmen as well. For more information, contact band director Eugene Cottrell at 542-4181, ext. 263.
Go ahead! With 24 seniors from the band graduating, there’s plenty of room to hop on the bandwagon.
