9/22 UNC Concessions

UNC Concessions went extremely well with our first occupancy of the South “Rock” stand and our 2nd game in #129.  We had a great group of parents and band students that really worked hard all day in both stands.  Sales in each stand were approximately $10,500 - $11,000.  Once the state sales tax is backed out and our commissions applied by Aramark that should be about $600-$675 per stand.  Big thanks to the students that stepped up to work the cashier windows.  I think that it speaks very well of our band organization to have such responsible students.  New managers Dawn Elkins, Liz Jones, & Tracy Huneycutt have had the required 2 games under their belt and Chreatha Alston & Maria Maag have had one.  Additional manager trainings will go on in November with our remaining two games.  Below are some images of our stands and workers from the day.  Thank you all for your participation in UNC Concessions.

2012 Pittsboro Music Community Day Fundraiser

The 2012 Pittsboro Music Commuity Day Fundraiser was held yesterday at McDonalds.  Mr. Cottrell provided behind-the-scenes details on the development this year's show "Successor to the Throne".  In addition, the marching chargers gave a stand-still performance of the show and several of their stands tunes.  McDonalds gave the band program $1463, half of the profit from the sales made between 12 and 2 PM.
